A nice sterling silver 925 pendant with inset round white pearlescent shell or pearl.

Round with off-centre shell, large loop to top for your chain.

Stamped 925 to back.

All slim and rounded with flat back.

Of some vintage, maybe 1990s.

9.5 grams.

Round shape is 32mm diameter, with shell of 20mm.

Good condition.

Hard to photo with reflections!

Pyrex JAJ pink Daisy oval 2179 divided vegetable casserole dish. Vintage 1950s

A very good example of a Pyrex JAJ (James A Jobling) Daisy design oval ‘divided vegetable’ dish.

Design no 2179, 2.5 pint.

It’s a pink print with 7 white daisies on white opal glass.

Daisy was made 1958-62 and was part of the Gaiety range.

This version with crown logo with text around is around 1958-1960.

The versatile oval baking dish is 32 x 21.5 x 5cm.

It is in great condition for the age.

Print/colour is nice and vivid and shiny.

No chips, very clean with not many signs of use.

Some small flakes of missing pink around the rim.

Abstract silver tone vintage brooch, brutalist textured leaf + backbone. 1960s

A super abstract leaf shaped brooch – with textured shapes and a backbone – reptile like.

The shapes are brutalist style with linear random lines, very much like pieces from the 1960s.

The ‘backbone’ is also quite abstract and curved.

It’s stamped to the back – looks like Tb in a circle.

I don’t know the maker, and therefore origin.

Silver tone – silver coloured coated cast metal.

Circa 1960s/1970s – typical of that retro modernist era.

65mm long.

Roll over pin to the back – works well.

Stamped to back – hard to read.

Very good and silvery.

A super Royal Doulton sculpture/ornament of two cats snuggling up together and sleeping.

By Robert Tabbenor, it’s model number 3894 from 1997.

This one is from the Millennium and has the year 2000 stamp.

Bright white glazed bone china ceramic.

Pure and simple.

13 x 9 x 8.5cm.

Excellent.

Atelier Beranek art glass vase, Czech handmade red block square. Prob. Petr Hora

A 1990s Czech art glass block vase.

It’s handmade and by Atelier Beranek, Czech Republic.

Probably by Petr Hoha.

Circa 1990s.

Red with yellow, blue, white, orange and enamel spots and trails. All random, cased in clear and formed onto a clear block base with ripples.

Rectangular with square undulating rim.

Comes with sticker.

Flat polished base.

Natural bubbles and ripples are all part of the appeal.

12 x 5.5 x 5.5cm.

All very good with no use.

Carn Pottery rectangular tall block vase, John Beusmans #37. 1970s vintage retro

A vintage studio pottery art vase, by Carn Pottery, Penzance, Cornwall from the 1970s or so…

Carn Pottery was John Beusmans; he used muted matt blue, brown and green washes over a pale neutral-toned clays and is best known for his geometric Cubist or angular pieces.

John was inspired by the Cornish sea and landscapes with primitive Celtic/Runic Studio Pottery designs.

This vase is a large straight-sided rectangular shaped block vase.

The outers of this vase were probably moulded, then different contrasting decors were hand applied.

One side has a looping/scribble design with a blue circle containing abstract patterns.

The other side has a lovely concentric rectangle shape. Scribbles to both sides.

It has muted pale beige brown earthy tones, with the blue circle.

A pale fine cream clay sculpture with a glossy glazed inner.

It has a Carn Pottery stamp to the base (feint) and a hand scribed model number ’37’… the stamps wore off over time and with use.

A large statement 23.5cm tall x 9.3cm wide x 7cm deep.

Good condition with a few small signs of its age – but displays very well.

One fine hairline inside and a historic baseline chip out of sight.

Holds water, functional.

Jim Hunter carved elm blond wood cat figurine, modernist minimalist standing

A super carved cat figurine, by Jim Hunter, Kent.

He’s elm and is simplified and minimal, in a mid century modernist style and very much like pieces by John Fox and Perry Lancaster.

Circa 1970s to 1990s – I think it’s an earlier piece.

Stickers to the base.

He’s standing with his tail and bottom up, stretching.

9.5cm long x 16cm tall x 5cm wide.

Good used, see pics.

The wood to the uppers is a bit dirtier with some darker patches.

All smooth with no chips.

A super Robert Welch cast iron egg timer.

Designed in 1984 and made by Victor Cast Ware.

White coated cast iron, glass, white sand, branded Victor top and bottom.

This version times exactly to 4 minutes.

Model number RW330.

11.5cm tall x 5.5cm.

Stylish hourglass shape.

Slightly off-white.

Good with some signs of age.

Tiny areas of rust discolouration.

Murano vintage art glass bowl. Amber cased dish ashtray, chunky heavy. 1960s MCM

A vintage Murano art glass bowl/ashtray/dish.

Circa 1960s vintage, mid century.

It’s in a rounded square shape with four folds inwards (would have been a fancy ashtray back in the day).

The amber (orangey gold) inner line of colour is cased in clear.

Flat polished base with signs of its era.

Chunky thick glass, 2cm wide undulating rim.

It’s a nice piece in good condition for age.

Handmade/mouth blown in Italy.

A good sized 13 x 13 x 5.5cm.

Chunky thick art glass. Weighs over a kilo.

A few tooling marks from being handmade.

Perfect for display and a splash of golden colour!

And a great retro prop for a room or set.

Poole Pottery vintage ceramic, dusky teal blue glaze seated cat figure ornament

A sitting proud 1970s-1980s studio pottery cat figurine, by Poole Pottery…

These Siamese-style cat figurines are beautiful and vary with glaze, size and left or right facing (like book ends). This fellow is the left hand one and is in the classic dusky teal blue/grey glaze. It’s like a dusky petrol blue colour. The glaze is smooth and glossy and fluid with blended brush strokes. He has blacker features/details and is stamped to the base with the Poole logo. The clay is a white fine clay like a porcelain. He would have been hand moulded then hand decorated – the maker’s marks are to the base (a painted L). I believe the range was designed by Barbara Linley-Adams and dates from 1970-1983 (ish).

16.3cm tall x 9cm x 5.5cm.

Very good condition with no chips to the ears or uppers. No crazing.

A small slither chip to the baseline underneath out of sight.
