A super little art glass vase or pot by Whitefriars, England.

Dating from the mid to late 1960s, it’s model number 9506 in Cased Blue colour (dark Royal blue).

Ovoid/oval shape, handmade (mouth blown) with controlled bubbles within.

Flat polished base and rounded rim.

Very good.

Some small marks to the rim, no chips or nibbles.

Just over 7cm tall x 6cm widest.

Orange cased white vintage art glass bamboo vase. Retro 70s. Empoli Scandi style

A super art glass vase, very much in the Empoli or Scandinavian style.

It has a white opaline inner, cased in a lush vibrant orange outer.

The rounded polished rim shows the glass layers.

Circa 1970s to 1980s.

Handmade glass – probably blown into a mould.

20cm or 8″ tall x 5.3cm rim.

Very good with no damage.

No maker’s marks.

Czech hand made fused glass dish, square black, yellow & red. Vintage artisan 7"

An artisan fused art glass ornamental square dish.

Handmade with a clear moulded shape, square with applied surface pattern.

The upper has long overlapping triangles of black, red and yellow.

A made in Czech Republic sticker to the reverse.

There’s another online with a sticker saying made by ‘Vilma Glass Design’.

Probably 1990s vintage, in a 1980s retro and post mdoernist style.

17.5 x 17.5 x 2cm.

Very good.

Any loss of colour in the brushstrokes is molten into the design and part of it.

Whitefriars kingfisher blue tapered chimney art glass bud vase 9655, 8". Vintage

A lovely simple tapered chimney vase, designed by Geoffrey Baxter for British firm Whitefriars, pattern number 9655.

This one is the mid sized version, just under 8″ tall.

It’s cased in clear glass with a solid clear base.

Fairly petite – would hold up to half a dozen slim stems.

Kingfisher Blue (vivid cyan/turquoise) colourway is roughly late 1960s to late 1970s, so of that retro era.

Beautiful simple minimalist design with a softened polished rim.

19.8cm tall, 4.5cm base, 2.7cm inner rim.

Excellent condition.

A few internal stretched bubbles.

Base is smooth, not polished.

Perfect as a gift and for display.

Czech 1969 Vladislav Urban Rosice vintage art glass vase, Moravia 1502/25. Amber

A funky art glass vase designed by Vladislav Urban for Rosice in 1969.

It’s called ‘Moravia’ and is model number 1502/25… 25 being the 25cm tall version of the design.

This is likely to be late 1960s or 1970s vintage.

Amber coloured pressed/moulded handmade glass, the surface is shell or bark-like with a series of random textured scrapes, arcs.

This is the heavy 10″ (25cm) tall square rectangular vase, slightly tapering out.

It’ a decent size to hold a dozen or so longer stems, if used.

25 x 9.5 x 9.5cm (square rectangular with straight sides).

Very heavy thick glass – weighs 1.75kg.

Excellent condition for age with no chips.

Typical Sklo base, very good.

Dating from the early 1960s it’s model number 9506 in Arctic Blue colour.

Ovoid/oval shape, handmade (mouth blown) with nicely controlled bubbles within.

Flat polished base and rounded rim.

Very nice example.

Orrefors FUGA 6.5" art glass bowl, smoky blue, Sven Palmqvist, vintage 1960s

A super Fuga bowl by Orrefors, Sweden.

It was designed by Sven Palmqvist in the mid 1950s.

Produced using a centrifugal force, so quality glass, formed with a mould.

Crystal content, smoky midnight blue.

Moulded signature to base.

Sleek, minimalist curves designed to nest and save space in kitchen cabinets.

Circa 1960s-1980s, but hard to tell age as it’s a great example.

16.8cm wide x 6.5cm tall – the right size for crisps and sharing snacks.

Very good condition.

A smart simple mid century useful bowl.

Vintage art glass jug, blue stripes + textured. Like Caithness Oban. Vase pot

A super art glass jug, very much along the lines of Caithness’s Oban range.

However this doesn’t have the definition of the separated canes and is lightly textured.

So a bit of an unknown handmade mouth-blown piece, using a mould.

Could be early or experimental Oban…. you decide.

Circa 1970s-1980s.

The clear jug is a rounded oval shape with little spout and no handle.

The enamel-like blue twisted canes twist around the body and under the base.

They’re mixed shades of blue.

Flat polished rim.

All very nicely made.

13.5cm tall x 8.5cm widest.

Excellent.

Jasper Conran x Stuart Crystal Aura 21cm tapering cut art glass vase. 1999

A 1999 design by Jasper Conran in association with Stuart Crystal, England.

Aura design.

I believe Stuart Crystal joined Waterford Crystal in 1995 and ceased manufacturing under their name in 2001.

Making this a 1999-2001 vase.

It has both the original Conran/Stuart sticker and the etched signatures to the base.

8″ version, 20.5cm tall. 6.5cm base.

Clear bright crystal formed glass vase with engraved rings around it.

Tapering cylinder shape with flat rim.

Quality, and nicely made.

Excellent for age.

A vintage Finnish art glass vase by Riihimaki (Riihimaen Lasi).

Pattern number 1581 (short version, designer unknown).

Circa late 1960s to 1970s vintage modernist.

Funky high bulge design in a great colour.

Mouth blown, a blue green colour glass (peacock, teal) cased in clear at the base.

18cm tall x 9.5cm widest.

Good for age and era.

Good externally with good rim.

Some water marks inside which show in some lights.
