A lovely vintage jug/vase by Ewenny Pottery, Wales.

The pottery piece has been wheel thrown and handmade and is glazed black with abstract blue spots/blobs.

The blue is a pale grey sky blue, it’s like a resist glaze with random spots.

It’s hand signed to the base – Ewenny Pottery.

I would guess at 1950s to 1970s vintage.

Medium – 13cm x 9cm widest at the belly, 9cm rim.

Would suit a cottage setting with flowers used as a vase.

Very good with no noticeable chips or crazing.

Useable.
