A super Bitossi art pottery vase from the 1960s mid century era.
By Aldo Londi and in the distinctive Rimini Blu colours.
The decor is un-named but based on the Thai Silk decor – this version was produced for the Scandinavian market.
Two rows of incised flowers with dark blue and lime green glazes.
The pottery/clay is very rough and textured.
Signed to the base ‘V11/18 Italy’.
The cylinder vase is 18cm tall x 10cm wide.
Very good condition with no chips or cracks.
Being a rough clay there are a few mini dots of exposed clay or thinner where the glaze is missing.
