Description
A super dressing table lidded pot with hand painted design of a stylised woman to the top.
The unique painting is aqua, dusky pink and black colours and is signed G.
It’s by Ceramica di Milano, Italy, (see Mark Hill’s Alla Moda book p213).
Mid century era – 1950s to 1970s, beautifully stylised.
Stamped to the base with the logo and model no ‘SC.8’.
Probably designed to hold a powder puff but perfect today for trinkets, bracelets, jewellery etc.
White ceramic base is 11 x 4.7cm.
Rounded lid is 12cm wide.
A couple of inner hidden chips under the lid.
No crazing or cracks or anything noticeable.
