A matching pair of retro vintage bar glasses… Carl Aubock style.
I can’t find enough information about Carl Aubock’s mid century wrapped glasses to see if these are by him.
They have feature raffia/rattan covered round handles and centre area, with conical top and bottom glass shapes.
The glass stem is solid.
The raffia must have metal under as it’s solid and sturdy, and it has a side pattern.
Quite small capacity so suited to shots/whisky/gin if used.
Circa 1960s-1970s, great retro MCM vibes.
Some small signs of age.
One rim has two teeny fleabites and the other rim has a dark inclusion – shown.
Raffia/rattan is good for age, with some darker areas.
8.5cm tall x 8cm at rim. Like a baby cocktail glass.
