A fab retro West German pottery ashtray.
By Dumler & Breiden and model number 455/16.
Circa 1960s to 1970s vintage.
Matt brown with glossy white greek key design and red glossy spots.
Hand painted – the brown wash is thinner in places like the rim.
Round straight cylinder ashtray with 4 indents to the rim.
Could be used as a plant pot holder too.
16cm wide x 6cm high.
Very good with no chips or cracks.
One tiny nibble to the inner rim and thinner glaze to the rim.
