A super art jug by Katherine Barney from Elsing, Norfolk.

A white pottery/ceramic which has been hand painted and drawn with freeform patchwork rectangles then glazed.

Lovely and colourful with red, green and blue with black over.

Signed by the artist and “Live with Love”.

Contemporary – from within the last 10 years.

All her pieces are unique.

12cm tall.

5.5cm rim, 7cm wide base.

Very good.

Habitat square glass block candle holder, vintage solid clear glass. 1990s retro

A Habitat solid glass square candle holder – for a standard tapered dinner candle.

The glass block is 4 x 7 x 7cm and is of some vintage, probably 1990s.

It has a care instruction sticker to the bottom, as well as a faded price label.

Glass has swirls and bubbles within with softened straight edges.

Very good with no chips.

Not sure of the design name/year.

Robert Welch Drift 25cm 18/10 polished stainless steel tray & silicone mat + box

A Robert Welch original contemporary Drift serving tray, the 25cm long version of the design.

Serving tray, drink tray, and useable with the cake stand too.

Asymmetric tray with lifted curved edges, in a high polish 18/10 stainless steel.

It comes with its original removable non-slip silicone protector mat.

And leaflet and polishing cloth and box.

Hardly used but when it was it was used without the mat it got scratches, shown.

25 x 23 x 2.5cm.

(£45 new).

Rye Pottery vintage ceramic pin dish, ornamental plate. 1950s 1960s blue flower

A vintage studio pottery pin dish by Rye Pottery, Sussex.

The base stamp and white clay dates it to 1957 to 1969, mid century era.

Rye Pottery was John Cole and Walter Cole. Walter (Wally) was responsible for creating the ceramics and running the pottery while John made the designs and created the patterns and decorations. As their work became increasingly popular, the Coles began to employ and train other staff – throwers David Sharp, Dennis Townsend, Raymond Everett, David Smeed and Jim Elliott who were later joined by Pam Goddard and June Woolley. No exact maker’s marks so it’s hard to know who this was by, likely Walter Cole.

Wheel thrown and glazed off-white, the dish has black outer ring, then yellow and a deep red band – all with sgraffito lines. Internally it has a fine blue atomic star with blue spiral and black dots.

All quite typical of the 1950s and their decors.

12cm wide – best for display and for a collector rather than use.

In very good condition with no real signs of age.

No chips or crazing.

Emalox Norway vintage blue anodised aluminium mid-century retro bowl, 14cm dish

A nice little round Norwegian vintage bowl, by Emalox, Norway.

Blue anodised coating over bright silver aluminium, showing the silver rim.

Circa 1960s 1970s mid century era.

A 14cm wide version of the design x 3cm tall.

Mid blue with silver trim.

Sticker to base.

Good.

On close inspection it has fine small surface marks inside and a scratch outside.

Old Hall stainless steel & rosewood coffee/hot water pot, 1970s modernist retro

A super Old Hall coffee/hot water pot.

Circa early 1970s and hard to find and ID.

It looks like it should be a Robert Welch piece, but is not stamped as such.

Stainless steel with rosewood trim.

Coffee pot is 1 3/4 pint.

Coffee pot – 15.5cm tall, 18.5cm with lid and lid lift x 10cm diameter.

It’s a straight sided cylinder shape, simple and modernist.

Very good condition with a few marks to the steel.

I’ll clean the steel up a bit more.

Wood is very good.

Useable and displays well.

Jenny Haigh Poole A22 egg-shaped pottery bud vase + 2 holes, sculpture. Vintage

A super vintage art pottery egg-shaped piece by Jennie Haigh for Poole Pottery, circa 1973-1976.

The egg sculpture is a stoneware ceramic, glazed in a pale beige speckled glaze, with brown dashes.

It features two holes for single stem flowers, if used.

It looks to be part of the Atlantis range – model number A22.

10cm tall x 8.5cm wide.

Very good with no flaws.

Looks new really.

Stamps to the base.

Midwinter Stonehenge Moon serving salad 9" bowl, blue stripe Creation 70s retro

Midwinter Pottery 9″ wide serving bowl, circa 1970s to early 1980s vintage.

It’s the Midwinter Stonehenge shape (base of cream with random iron oxide brown speckles/trim which is ‘Creation’) with the glossy Moon design – deep blue and lighter blue stripes. The design was by Eve Midwinter and it was launched in 1973 and produced until the mid 1980s. Very retro and a design classic in one of the harder to find colour-ways.

A larger 22cm wide x 4.2cm tall. Simple round shape with rim.

Unusual sizing with larger capacity.

Very good condition.

No noticeable marks or chips or crazing.

An imperfection to the blue pattern – from at the time and quite typical.

Due to the nature of the random glazes these are all slightly different and unique with different speckles and stripes.

A Scandinavian Danish style Spiral candle holder.

Vintage – likely 1970s to 1980s.

Holds 6 slimmer Scandi tapered candles.

Unknown make.

Nice rustic finish with natural patina and age to the black metal.

Table top protectors to the 6 legs.

24.5 x 19cm -inner candle holders are 1.4cm widest.

Good used.

A stylised scaredy cat figure…

I think it’s resin composition, designed to look like carved dark wood or a bronze.

Probably 1990s, unknown origin and make.

Post modernist minimal or Deco style.

18cm tall (7 inches) x 11 x 7.5cm.

Good with a few tiny marks, see pics.

Good on display – makes a nice simple sculpture for a mantelpiece.
