A rare and hard to find Tapir from the 1982 Zoo Series designed by Bertil Vallien for Boda (later became Kosta Boda), Sweden.
Hand signed Kosta to one foot.
He’s the lovely 11cm Tapir.
Handmade, mouth blown in a mould with bright clear crystal content.
Swedish made quality art glass/crystal figurine or paperweight.
Has a flat polished back and is simplified, stylised and lightly 3D with simple lines.
A modernist, minimalist and 1980s retro stylised collectable.
Great condition.
He has natural swirls to the sides and feet from being handmade.
Soft and smooth one side, flat polished with the lines to the other.
11.5cm x 7.5cm x 3.5cm.
Hard to find – perfect for a collector, as a paperweight or ornamental for display.
