Description
An unusual umbrella shaped ceramic plate/shallow bowl/dish by Midwinter.
It’s the Red Domino design by Jessie Tait which dated from 1953, on the Fashion Shape plate so post 1955.
So circa late 1950s mid century vintage.
The backstamp says ‘Midwinter Modern’.
The umbrella plate unusually hasn’t been drilled through to make a cake stand.
It’s very good with no chips, cracks or crazing.
