An unidentified signed vintage art glass vase….
It’s hand signed to the base something like ‘Geid runas’ – see pics.
It’s a heavy thick mouth blown handmade cylinder shape, cased in clear.
Alternating royal blue and red strips swirl around the body, the stripes are slightly chevroned (pushed up and down) so they get wavier near the top.
Softened rounded rim – all rounded and tactile.
Broken pontil to base.
Base shows signs of age – so I’m assuming this is of some vintage.
Probably 1970s-1980s.
17cm tall x 7cm wide. 900 grams.
Good condition.
A few insignificant small scratches.
