Description
A lovely Polish mid century silver brooch.
It’s an openwork series of four hammered arcs with two curved rods and three square prongs.
Circa 1960s/1970s vintage.
800 grade silver.
Stamped to the pin ‘WK’ (the maker) and K 3 within an oval meaning Krakow, Poland, 800 silver and 1963-1986.
45mm long x 40mm widest. Can be worn any way round.
The prongs may have held a stone originally but I love the sticking upwards contrast.
8 grams.
Very good condition.
Hook under pin fastening.
