Description
A lovely vintage art glass paperweight by Mdina Glass, Malta.
From the 1970s and following on from Michael’s Harris’ designs from the late 60s.
It’s his Sea and Sand design – swirls and webs of sandy goldy threads over swirling blues (light blue, cyan, turquoise, teals).
All cased in clear glass.
Round orb shape with flat polished base.
Signed ‘Mdina’ to the base.
A good sized solid 8cm wide x 7cm tall. 623 grams.
Very good and well looked after.
A couple of tiny small surface dots from use/age.
Some air bubbles and small white lines within the glass.
