Description
A Le Creuset vintage large oval casserole dish, with original lid.
It’s in the classic Volcanic orange which gently fades from orange to a tomato red.
Cast iron with enamel coating.
It’s made in France and is the model D.
28cm long x 21.5cm wide x 11cm without lid, apx 17cm tall with lid. 34cm long with handles.
Maker’s marks inside the lid and to the base.
Unknown vintage – of some age.
Good used. Good for a shelf, display, a prop.. looks great in the kitchen.
Useable – not sure how to clean it up more.
Cooked in marks inside, and a few outside.
Some enamel chips, mostly along the rim lines, see all pics.
Weighs about 4kg.
