A cute and chubby large Mdina art glass bird paperweight/figure.
He’s their traditional Sea and Sand decor with teal/turquoise blue with sandy gold splatters within.
All cased in clear.
Signed to the base.
Vintage – circa late 1970s-1980s.
Mouth blown/handmade in Malta.
Very good condition.
A slight sharp area to the tail from being handmade.
A few tiny fine surface marks.
A lovely example, he’s lovely.
8cm tall x 10cm long x 7.5cm wide – fatter than most of their birds.
