Description
A vintage and elegant silver plated candlestick, marked ‘made in Denmark’.
Curiously it’s signed underneath also with ‘G de Martino, Napoli’ so it may share links with the famous Italian artist.
It’s the same as candle holders by ‘Berg’ Denmark, but not marked as such.
Three candle holders on a scooping double-bar design, with a big round base.
I’d guess at 1950s-1960s mid century but it may be older.
Good shine currently.
Very good condition for age.
A couple of darker spots to the silver and some other age related marks.
Felt base (it comes out easily).
23 x 14 x 10cm.
Designed to take 3 standard tapered dinner candles (openings are 2cm, so a squeeze).
