A super West German studio pottery ornamental art jug vase.
Handmade (wheel thrown pottery) and hand painted with dusky green swirls and leaves.
Stamped to base with the maker’s mark – Wilhelm & Elly Kuch.
Mid century – 1960s vintage.
10.2cm tall x 8cm wide excluding handle.
Dusky green with a pale green grey background glaze.
Very good.
The areas that are darker brown look to be a darker glaze or the lower terracotta clay rather than flaws.
