Description

A stunning vintage art glass vase, likely designed by Jan Beranek for Skrdlovice Glassworks in the mid 1960s (Czech/Bohemian).

It’s a deep rich blue, cased in clear glass.
Chunky and tactile glass with a narrow rounded inner rim, all mouth blown and artist finished.
Knobbly style random ripples to the outers.
This is an organic formation with hot-worked exterior indents and twists, making each piece unique.
Nicely finished polished pontil.

Very good condition.
Some natural tiny bubbles and a couple of teeny marks – possibly from production.

16.5 x 8cm wide. Weighs 1.2kg, heavy for its size. Great for a collector!
