Description
A vintage Dartington crystal Daisy Cheese Platter designed by Frank Thrower.
A sizeable 10″ wide and round and flat shaped, it’s suited for cakes, cheeses, nibbles, etc.
Design no FT215, the design dates from 1977 and is part of the Daisy Collection which included a smaller 7″ butter plate too.
This is circa 1970s, an older original one.
Quality 24% lead crystal content, moulded and mouth blown.
Platter is great for the age with no chips or marks.
Glass has a flat and smooth upper and textured beneath with a daisy flower indented.
Original card envelope box is in used condition.
The box features an old picture of the glass blowers/factory at Dartington.
26cm wide, flat.
