A lovely souvenir biscuit tin from 1953.
Produced by The Sovereign Confectionery Co Ltd, Lowton, England.
To celebrate the Coronation of HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1953.
(Coinciding with their 50th anniversary).
Round cylinder cake tin shape, with purple, red and gold decor.
Used. But a nice colour and design.
Please see all the photos showing its natural wear and age and any small dents etc.
Lid forms a seal, though more for a collector.
23cm wide x 9cm tall.
