A large Bitossi art pottery cylinder vase from the 1960s mid century era.
By Aldo Londi and in the distinctive Rimini Blu colours.
The decor is Liberty with abstract paisley and flower-like shapes.
Different shades of blue and turquoise with a hint of green.
The pottery/clay is very rough and textured, with incised lines and dots forming the patterns.
Old sticker to the base, unsigned.
The big cylinder vase is 21cm tall x 10.8cm wide.
Very good condition with no big chips.
Being a rough clay there are a few mini dots of exposed clay.
A few tiny white dots of missing glaze to the rim line, as is common.
And tiny one dot near a small scratch hidden in the decor.
Please study the photos – it’s a great vintage example.
