A stylish Modernist 1967 fully hallmarked Sterling Silver bracelet…
The hinged bracelet is typical of the era – with a Modernist simple geometric shape with angled diamond shapes. It’s fully hallmarked ‘CPS’ (the maker) then the anchor and lion stamps for Birmingham and sterling silver, and the date letter ‘S’. The opposite half also has the S date stamp. Made by CPS Jewellery Ltd, the English sterling silver is 925 grade.
Externally the round shape is a standard fit. Internally the closed circle measures about 6 x 5.8cm. It’s 7mm high x 2mm deep. Please check that it should fit you (not adjustable). It weighs 12.6 grams and the silver is hollow.
Simple and elegant, this would suit the a slimmer female wrist. It’s hinged in to two halves with a fine steel safety chain – a simple design that opens and locks together easily.
Good used condition. Looks good on.
There’s a few little dinks to the outer angled panels and the circle looks slightly out of shape.
