A 1977 hallmarked silver ingot…
Stamped GP, the maker, rose and lion, for Sheffield sterling silver 925, C for 1977, and the added Queen’s head for the silver jubilee year.
The rest of the rectangular block pendant is lightly bark textured, in a 1970s retro modernist style.
I’ve put it on a replacement vintage 23″ box chain.
The chain is stamped 925 and looks to have a maker’s mark of AR.
Together the pair weigh 17 grams.
Good used condition.
It has some marks all over from use.
