A pair of mid century silver plated Danish candle holders.
Designed to hold a slim Scandi-style taper candle.
They’re by Carl F. Christiansen.
Circa 1960s vintage/modernist.
Stamped to the base with a CC logo within a crown (Carl F. Christiansen, a Danish silversmith and manufacturer active from approximately 1943 to 1963).
Along with ‘FDG’ and a torch logo for Fællesrepræsentationen for Danmarks Guldsmede (the Common Representation of Danish Goldsmiths – a quality mark for silver-plated items.
The triangular shape is on 3 little feet, modernist Scandi style.
Good polished condition with a few small surface marks.
Some wax residue inside.
Fully functional.
Triangles are 8 x 8cm, about 3cm tall.
Inner candle holder is 1.2cm to 1.7cm wide – so suited to those slim tapered Scandi candles.
