A larger art glass fruit/salad or serving bowl by Holmegaard of Copenhagen, Denmark.
Designed by Sidse Werner for Holmegaard Glass in the 1970s or so, so from that era.
The design is from the ‘Water-lily’ series (aka Akande).
It’s shaped like an opening flower with icy textured outer petals or leaves.
The heavy clear pressed glass has a slight hint of aqua blue.
Crystal content – has a nice ring.
Smooth inside and textured outside.
Undulating rim.
A larger sized heavy art glass bowl or large bowl.
20cm wide x 9cm high.
Very good condition.

Probably hand blown, moulded and hand finished.
Perfect for dining, serving and as a everyday fruit bowl.
