A super carved cat figurine, by John Hunter, Kent.
He’s mahogany and is simplified and minimal, in a mid century modernist style and very much like pieces by John Fox and Perry Lancaster.
Circa 1990s to 2000s.
Signed and with sticker to the base.
He’s designed to peer over the edge of a shelf or item, as shown.
14cm long.
Very good.
The wood to the uppers is sun faded compared to the darker underneath.
All smooth with no chips.
