Description
A crackle/shrink glazed ‘fat lava’ era pottery flared pot/vase, by Jopeko Ceramics, West Germany.
Glossy dusky reddy pink underneath with matte white crackle textured overlay.
It has stripes of the deep red and is red inside, with speckles.
It has a straight angled handle and is a straight hour glass design.
Apx 1960s vintage, though the design/technique dates from 1955.
The vase is small at 12.5cm tall, 6cm widest.
I can’t read the model number to the base – something like 363-13.
Excellent condition.
