Description
A big vintage 1960s/1970s plant pot holder by Jopeko, West Germany.
Retro style, straight sided with glossy orange band and striped matt brown uppers.
The orange has random textures/shapes underneath.
The brown is speckley with some pitting/bubbles.
No base stamp. Cream glaze inside.
A larger size.
14cm tall x 16.2cm wide at the rim.
It would fit a flower pot up to 15cm tall x 14cm wide.
For indoor use only. No stamp to base.
Used condition.
No chips but a couple of hairlines inside – one long one is visible inside stemming down from a small rim impact, all shown.
Crazing inside.
But useable and any cracks are not visible in use and on display.
(Keep water level to a minimum if used).
Remnants of old felt base to base – hard to remove.
