Description

A vintage art glass (crystal content) bowl, designed by Kjell Engman for Boda in the 70s (later became Kosta Boda).
A Swedish handmade moulded glass bowl called ‘Rhapsody’ – an alternative design.
This has a post 1976 Kosta Boda label. Circa 1980s vintage.

It’s handmade and depicts four traditional Sweden scenes – a pair folk dancing in 3D relief, a hut and reindeer, a man and his duck, and a building. Along with floral/fauna decorative divides and swirls.

The rim is undulating and irregular.
It’s a bright clear crystal glass.
Highly textured – looks stunning in the sun.
Small fruit bowl sized – perfect for nibbles or grapes or nuts or ornaments etc.
Good thick chunky weighty crystal glass (has a lovely crystal ring).
Roughly round shape with slightly flared out sides, rounded base.

Weighs 800g.
11.5cm tall x 13.5cm wide.
Very good condition.
The label is pealing off, nicely irregular rim.
