Description
A lovely vintage handmade/mouth blown Mdina (Malta) art glass vase.
Sea and Sand colours, as designed by Michael Harris and probably from just after his era at Mdina (early 1970s).
Unsigned with flat polished base.
A ‘lollipop’ vase, with coloured inner core and cased in light clear green glass.
Deep turquoise blue, cloudy pale yellow ochre, bubbles, with greeny tones too.
One side has two ‘ice cut’ faces, and the back is rounded.
Very slim single stem vase with rounded very narrow rim.
There’s a lot going on!
16.5cm tall x 12cm widest x 6cm deep.
Good used condition.
The right hand cut face has some nibbles along the cut line.
And the left hand rounded edge has some scrapes.
Still looks good and displays well as any flaws are small.
