Description
A lovely art glass Mdina paperweight (or doorstop).
The technique/design was down to Michael Harris in Malta in the late 1960s through the 1970s.
This is probably 1970s.
Mediterranean sea like colouring – known as ‘Sea and Sand’.
The colouring is a turquoise to dark blue with an internal crizzle web of gold.
All cased in clear glass, with clear top ball.
Mouth blown/hand made.
Flat signed base.
Solid glass – 10cm tall x 6.5cm wide.
Great displayable condition, a lovely example.
