A lovely large Midwinter jug from the Oakley collection.
1.5 pints or 850ml to the rim.
The vintage Midwinter ‘Oakley’ pottery pattern was designed by Jessie Tait in the 1960s. It was produced by the W.R. Midwinter pottery company in Staffordshire, England, and was originally created exclusively for Boots stores’ Stylist range.
So circa 1960s mid century vintage.
Glazed white with beige, brown and grey/blue simple modernist design.
11.5cm diameter. 11cm to the rim. 11.5cm tallest at spout.
Suited to milk, cream, gravy, sauces, custard, etc.
Very good with no chips.
