Description
A pretty Murano art glass duck or bird figurine bowl.
Neck looking backwards, with crossed wings and low tail.
Colour fades from blue through amber to a richer topaz colour base.
He has an applied clear beak and eyes and crest.
Mouth blown and handmade (very likely Murano, Italy).
Unknown vintage.
In the mid century modern style.
Flat polished base with not many signs of age.
17cm tall x 20cm wide x 11.5cm deep bowl.
Bowl is deep and large.
Good condition with a couple of small external surface marks.
There’s a sharp seam underneath his beak where he’s been shaped.
And eyes look a bit clumsy.
Some formation/tooling marks.
Looks nice and displays well.
