Stylish Modernist jug designed by Robert Welch, Des. RCA., FSIA, for Old Hall (Sheffield, England).
Part of the iconic Oriana range designed in 1957, these were in production from 1960 to 1975.
The Oriana range came about after the Orient Line enquired at Old Hall about tableware for their liner SS Oriana.
The Oriana range used a heavier gauge stainless steel with a lower centre of gravity.
It is is now much sought after.
High quality vintage item in a satin 18/8 stainless steel.
Made in England by Old Hall, stamped with the Old Hall Robert Welch logo.
