A lovely simple and stylish satin stainless steel 1960s Old Hall ice bucket, designed by Robert Welch.
I’m not sure if it’s the Alveston or Oriana design ice bucket (online these appear to be called Alveston, but in the Robert Welch book it’s Oriana). If it’s Oriana, it was designed in 1958, and is model number 43210.
Circa 1960s or 1970s vintage – great Modernist designs with a high quality sturdy feel.
Stamped under the handles with the Old Hall logo and “Designed by R Welch, Old Hall England, 18/8 Stainless Steel”.
Ice bucket is petite at 12.3cm tall x 9.5cm wide base (12.5cm wide max at rim).
Good used condition with some marks to the steel.
