Description
A super art glass high crystal-content quality ice bucket, by Orrefors, Sweden.
The model is Erik, designed by Olle Alberius, model no 2424/97.
Circa 1970s-1980s and very much the mid century modernist Scandinavian styling.
Thick heavy glass, with a great sparkle, with feature textured (criss crossed indented lines) base.
Hand signed ‘of’ to the base.
Chrome handle and matching original tongs.
Original sticker.
Excellent with no signs of use or age.
The tongs have some discolouration to the silver reflective finish, probably just from age.
All comes in original wrapping and packaging and box.
13.5cm tall (with handle down), 14cm wide.
The rim is flat, thick and polished.
Original tongs are 18cm long.
Weighs a very heavy 2.5kg – thick quality vintage crystal!
