A Poole Pottery unique art pottery ceramic table lamp base.
Handmade, and circa 1950s to 1960s mid century vintage.
Typical Traditional style and decor of that era by Poole.
Signed by the artist LE3 and stamped to the base with the logo.
It’s a smooth simple shape, good and stable.
Glazed satin white the band of decor is hand painted blue birds with flora/flowers around.
White with purples, greens and yellows.
It has a cable hole and a 13mm hole to the top – no light fittings are included, just this lovely vintage base.
Hole for cable is about 9mm wide and sits near the base.
A small, smooth and simple base, 11cm widest at the base, 11.5cm tall.
Excellent – all as originally manufactured with any quirks to the glaze and ceramic.
No fittings included.
