A super 1960s vintage Portmeirion Pottery Jupiter coffee/tea cup and saucer…

Designed by Susan Williams-Ellis, this is an iconic mid century design.

Produced from 1964, it was designed using the new Serif shape.

The Jupiter design has concentric circles ,like planets, and a pointy handle.

This is a lush petrol blue glaze.

Circa mid 1960s vintage (’64-’68).

Cup – 8cm at the rim, 8cm tall. Saucer is 13.2cm wide. Stamped to the bases.

Cup is very good.

Saucer has age.

No chips though.
