Description
A nice lidded Pyrex JAJ (James A Jobling) Daisy design shallow casserole dish, or space saver.
Design no 2161, a shallow rectangular/oblong Casserole.
It’s pale pink with white print, on white Pyrex glass.
Daisy was part of the Gaiety range and was made 1958-62.
The base-stamp is an early example so this is circa 1958-1960.
Casserole dish, with matching lid on, is roughly 29 x 17 x 7.5cm – the lower section is just over 4cm tall.
Stamped underneath handles with ‘2161’.
It has the crown logo to the base with Pyrex Tableware writing in a circle.
Original lid inverses for neat stacking/space saving.
Lid is stamped with ‘Pyrex’ and is 3cm tall.
Space saver and lid are in good used vintage but displayable condition.
Signs of use but print is good.
Some crunches to the corners (softened historic chips that are blended in), see all pics.
Some wear to extreme corners.
A few chips inside the lid but externally good.
Please study all pictures.
