Description
A large and striking art glass vase, by Tamara Aladin for Riihimaki (Riihimaen Lasi) Glass Works, Finland.
It was designed in 1968 and produced until 1974.
It has a fabulous rich vibrant peacock blue/green, or teal, or kingfisher greeny colour, cased in clear.
It is round and cylindrical and lightly textured with feature narrow neck and wide curvy smooth upper.
It is pattern number 1495.
Mouth blown in to a mould.
Flat polished rim. Unsigned.
25cm tall x 10cm wide at rim.

Good condition for age/era with one shallow rim chip.
Some natural moulding lines and some natural age to the baseline.
