Description
A vintage vase by Scheurich Keramik, West Germany.
Known as the Foligna or Foligno design vase, I believe.
Dating from the ‘fat lava’ 1960s/1970s era, this has a glossy cream with white dotty glossy glazes and a green stripe.
Geometric flower shapes impressed underneath, in two rows of patterns (the shorter version of the design).
Glossy smooth decor with glossy brown inside.
Mid Century Modern and retro in styling – perfect statement for your teak sideboard and to add to a collection.
The shape is 289-15… 15 denoting 15cm tall (well, slightly taller).
11cm wide max.
Stamped to the base.
Perfect size for a bunch of flowers/sticks.
Ideal for a neutral decor…. with a splash of green.
Very good condition.
A lighter brown glaze patch to the rim – from at the time.
