A lovely vintage gold tone large brooch…
Stamped with Vendome – so dating it from 1953 to 1979.
Vendome was USA and was the high-end part of Coro, designed for an American luxury market.
Gold coloured cast metal.
The openwork pendant is an ellipse or eye shape, with textures and layers of freeform shapes.
The shiny shapes are globular, like drips, with flatter textures below.
Brooch is a large statement 70mm x 38mm.
It’s kitsch and brutalist in style – typical of the 1950s-1960s era.
Good condition.
Roll over pin works well.
