A pair of stunning 1960s Danish vintage Sterling silver 925 cufflinks…
The simple design, with criss-crossed diamond lines, was made by Rasmussen & Lassen, Denmark and both are stamped with ‘Ra&La’. Rasmussen & Lassen were based in Copenhagen and operated from 1960 until 1970. They are also stamped with Sterling, Denmark, 925, so sterling 925 grade Scandinavian silver.
The rectangular square block shapes are solid silver and are 19 x 3.5 x 3.5mm. They have a simple geometric diagonal line pattern. They are on a fixed curved rod which is hallmarked, and have an oval flat moveable toggle back, see pics.
Mid Century Modernist in style, and typical of the 1960s/1970s Scandinavian era. Good for the age and era. Smart, simple, classy – and around 60 years old.
Solid silver, weighing 10 grams together.
