Description
A vintage Dartington crystal Daisy Cheese Platter designed by Frank Thrower.
A sizeable 10″ wide and round shaped, it’s suited for cakes, cheeses, nibbles, etc.
Design no FT215, the design dates from 1977 and is part of the Daisy Collection which included a smaller 7″ butter plate too.
This is circa 1980s-1990s.
Quality 24% lead crystal content, moulded and mouth blown.
Platter is great for the age with no chips or marks.
Glass has a flat and smooth upper and textured beneath with a daisy flower indented.
Original card envelope box is in good condition.
A nice boxed example, 26cm diameter.
Heavy – over 1.7kg.
