Description
A lovely 1970s Dartington Glass crystal-content tall spaghetti jar/canister.
Designed by Frank Thrower in 1971, this is model no FT121.
It has PASTA etched/sandblasted – the font is ‘stencil’ and typical of the 1970s.
Internally it holds spaghetti upto 30cm tall – taller than most.
A lovely handmade glass jar, simple, modernist, stylish.
Jar is 33.5cm tall, with cork it’s 35.5cm tall.
Very good with just a couple of signs of age and use.
Fine scratches to the lowest inch.
Original red Dartington sticker and a vintage ‘marcaroni’ sticker.
Nice and clean, useable, displayable etc.
Cork is very good – clean with no missing bites.
