Description
An original retro Carefree (Manchester, England) small metallic drinks tray.
It has a striking red machine-cut dotty circle with a gold metal trim.
Designed to glasses or mugs for up to 6 people.
It’s gold coated lightweight aluminium.
Unknown vintage – my grandma had some of these back in the 1970s, so it is likely 1960s.
It also ticks all the boxes for a 1980s Hollywood Regency vibe.
The small-sized drinks tray is 30cm x 21.5cm x 1.8cm. With handles it is 35.5cm long.
Very good vintage condition.
Some scratches/marks, shown, and to the gold rim.
It maintains its original sticker and has four felt feet to the reverse.
