A lovely cast pewter metal sculpture of an owl, circa 1950s-1960s vintage.
By Richard Fisher (1925–2015) from Cumbria, England.
The figure is solid and heavy – 1.7kg.
Shades of silver grey with darker graphite and shinier silvery areas.
Original felt base.
The stylised cast has an impressed signature to the bottom back.
A good sized 14 x 12.5 x 13cm
Heavy at 1.7kg.
Very good apart from a chip off the end of his beak – not noticeable until you look underneath.

It could also be monel metal (a heavy nickel alloy).
