Description
A striking and petite art glass vase, by Sea Glasbruk, Sweden.
Most likely 1970s vintage.
An aubergine or plum tone of purple, cased in clear glass at the base.
It has a lightly flared rim, with a few hoops towards the bottom and a straight solid base.
Most likely mouth blown in to a mould.
Sea Glasbruk is now part of the Orrefors Kosta Boda family.
The design is very close to vases by Aseda Glasbruk, and these were often imported by Hans Geismar.
They come in many colours – there are lots of collect!
15cm tall x 4cm wide base.
Very good condition for age/era.
A post of extra plum colour shown in last photo.
