A striking and petite art glass vase, by Sea Glasbruk, Sweden. Most likely 1970s vintage…
It is a green cased in a vibrant peachy toffee amber coloured glass at the base. It has a lightly flared rim, with a few hoops towards the bottom and a straight solid base. Most likely mouth blown in to a mould.
Sea Glasbruk is now part of the Orrefors Kosta Boda family. The design is very close to vases by Aseda Glasbruk, and these were often imported by Hans Geismar. They come in many colours – there are lots of collect!
16cm tall x 4.2cm wide base.
Very good condition for age/era with no chips or nibbles.
No maker’s marks.
