Description
A super little art glass bowl (or ashtray) by Whitefriars, England.
This Ruby Red version could date any time from the 1950s mid century to the early 1970s.
It has nicely controlled bubbles throughout – neat and in rows – a well executed one.
4 inch version of the design.
Typical WF pontil/base.
10cm x 4cm.
Very good for age with not many signs of age or obvious scratches.
A rogue bubble to the rim mixed with a tiny spot shown on last photo.
